Picking up a few months after the end of Firefly, Serenity continues to tell the tale of our merry band of outsiders. With Inara and Shepherd Book having left the ship, Captain Malcolm Reynolds seems hell-bent on alienating everyone else in the crew. After they had yet another run-in, Simon decides it is safer for him and his psychic, mentally still-not-quite-stable sister River to leave the ship. But the Alliance will not rest until they get back their star pupil... who carries a horrible secret within her mind.
